International BoxerJKD is a group of scientists and Boxer enthusiasts who are committed
to education and the sharing of information that can reduce the incidence
and
the global spread of Juvenile Kidney Disease in Boxers

Vision

To create a transparent informative and educational platform which includes the latest available research, screening protocols and breeding advice, together with information that can be used to raise awareness and educate Boxer breeders and owners about the disease that is affecting Boxers across the globe.

Future

We are committed to keeping this site up to date with the latest advances, sharing pedigree information of BoxerJKD cases from around the globe and the research attempts being done to identify the genetic basis of the disease.
Breeding of healthy Boxers is moving into a new era, where co-operation and sharing of information between breeders has never been more important to the future health and welfare of our beloved breed

Thanks

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made this website possible
It has been a successful International collaboration
A special thank you all the Boxer owners and breeders who have graciously agreed to share the pedigrees and photographs of their beloved Boxers which have been diagnosed with Boxer Juvenile Kidney Disease (Boxer JKD). Without your support this educational platform for owners and breeders would never have been made possible.
We would also like to thank Dreamweavers Photography, New Zealand, for permission to use their beautiful photographs of some wonderfully fit and healthy Boxers living life to the fullest.
