Norwegian Research to find the Boxer JKD gene

Professor Frode Lingaas at NMBU needs blood from young boxers with chronic kidney disease, or boxers any age diagnosed with BoxerJKD. You can also donate the kidney tissue if or when the dog has to be put to sleep.

In addition he needs donations of blood, and if possible kidney tissue, from boxers older than 8 years of age that have to be put down due to other causes than kidney disease.
In order to participate please complete all sections of this form. The completed form must accompany the samples. We recommend that you make arrangements with your veterinarian in advance.
This information applies to all Boxers living in Norway irrespective of their origin.
