Update added 1st Sept: I have just received a detailed letter from our kidney specialist now expressing a specific interest in JKD, specifically upon fading puppies and as possible on PM material. All would depend on breeders providing the material (notably from at risk lines for fading puppies/neonatal losses). So, people, if you feel there are a lot of questions to be answered re JKD, here is your opportunity to get the answers, but it will need input from you in the way of material to investigate; it won’t happen without you. I therefore put this out as appeal to Breed Council, Clubs, and most of all individual breeders for cooperation with this JKD research. This is the one and perhaps only chance to make such research possible. If you are willing to help, at least in principle, please contact me or boxerjkd.com as soon as possible.
