Website Update

26/6/2015

Web 3. I am going to number notices worth attention, such as this one, so that they can be found easily again. Here I report that a first update of the JKD website is about to be made. With the UK pedigrees it will comprise some minor rearrangement to help reduce confusion with the colour-marking and also comprises inclusion of the Introduction and Conclusions for the pedigrees within the pedigree page, so that critical information for understanding the pedigrees cannot be easily missed. Also included in this update are the first few Norwegian pedigrees. Their diagnoses were based mostly on the same parameters as ours (blood and urine tests plus clinical signs) but some with ultrsound. They have been colour marked in accordance with ours. Overlaps can be seen.
I would add that there has been discord over the diagnosis of UK case 24. The vet concerned is being consulted and the group is discussing paying for UPC/GFR full blood work and renal US should the results be in doubt.
